Pasadena ISD Community,

Pasadena ISD has been made aware of inappropriate and insensitive comments made by an employee regarding the passing of Charlie Kirk. This situation is being addressed administratively, and we want to assure our community that comments of this nature are taken seriously. These remarks are not aligned with the values, standards, or expectations of our district.

We regret that these comments were made. Pasadena ISD is committed to maintaining a respectful and compassionate environment for all.

We extend our condolences to Mr. Kirk’s family, friends, and all those mourning his passing.

Join us at Matthys Elementary for a heartwarming Grandparents Day Breakfast—a special time to celebrate the love and wisdom of our grandparents!

📅 Dates & Grades

  • September 8, 2025: Pre-K, 1st, 3rd, and STARS
  • September 10, 2025: Kinder, 2nd, and 4th

🕖 Time: 7:45 AM – 8:30 AM
📍 Location: School Cafeteria

🍽️ Breakfast available for $3.50 per adult (cash only)
🎒 Students eat free or feel free to bring your own breakfast!

This event is just for grandparents and their grandchildren—come share smiles, stories, and a delicious morning together. 💛
